First Michelle Beadle now Erin Andrews? According to reports, Erin Andrews is leaving ESPN. Sorry guys, the eye candy appears to be gone at the world-wide leader of sports. Sports Illustrated learned that Andrews, is leaving ESPN for Fox Sports’ college football coverage.
According to SI.com:
Fox Sports declined comment when asked by SI.com. Lewis Kay, a representative for Andrews had this to say:“Erin Andrews is leaving ESPN,” an ESPN spokesperson said. “She did great work for us and we made an aggressive offer to keep her. We wish her the best on her next chapter.”
“We are not in a position to discuss Erin’s next career move.”ESPN has been said to want Erin Andrews back, but it appears she is in for a nice payday with Fox’s expansion into college football. With the new 12-year agreement, Fox should rival ESPN with the addition of Gus Johnson as its lead play-by-play guy for its college football coverage.
