Found October 31, 2013 on Hall of Very Good:

It was the Clint Eastwood character "Dirty Harry" who, during the movie "The Dead Pool" uttered the now popular adage "opinions are like assholes, everybody has one" and, anatomically speaking...he was right. The problem is, too many people take to the Twittersphere to show theirs off. Throughout the World Series, a bevy of folks, probably trying to show off how clever they are, tweeted their thoughts as to whether or not the games were rigged for the Boston Red Sox to win.  Included in the nonsense, former WWE commentator Matt Striker who, while he didn't necessarily come out and say it, implied it. And, yeah, he has since deleted this from his timeline. It's funny/sad to me how quick people jump on the conspiracy bandwagon nowadays.  But Striker might be on to something.  I mean, remember how following the September 11, 2001 attacks on New York, the Yankees won the World Series? Or, how in 2005, the New Orleans Saint hoisted the Lombardi Trophy to help the city heal from Hurricane Katrina? Yeah...me neither.  You know why?  Because neither of those things happened.

  • I thought the Arizona Diamondbacks beat the Yankees in the World series back in 2001. I guess I am going to have to return all that Diamondback world champion stuff.
