John Stamos continues to mourn Bob Saget: 'I'm not ready to accept that he's gone'

As details emerge about the circumstances surrounding Bob Saget's unexpected death on Sunday (Jan. 9) at 65 years old, John Stamos continues to mourn his close friend and Full House co-star.

Shortly after news of Saget's passing began circulating Sunday night, Stamos tweeted that he was "broken" and "gutted":

Stamos then shared a joint statement from the Full House cast on Monday:

Tuesday, the 58-year-old took to Instagram again with another heartfelt tribute:

Saget and Stamos co-starred as Danny Tanner and Uncle Jesse, respectively, on Full House for eight seasons from 1987 to 1995. They both reprised their roles for the Netflix reboot Fuller House from 2016-20. Saget's Full House family members have all posted tributes to him.

Saget began his "I Don't Do Negative" stand-up comedy tour last Friday (Jan. 7) with a show in Orlando, Fla. His final show was Saturday in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., and he was due to check out of the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando on Sunday by 3 p.m.

When he missed his checkout time, per People, hotel staff discovered him unresponsive in his room. An autopsy has been performed, which found "no evidence of drug use or foul play." An official cause of death has yet to be identified.

Saget is survived by daughters Aubrey, 34, Lara, 32, and Jennifer, 29, whom he shared with his ex-wife, Sherri Kramer. He had been married to Kelly Rizzo since October 2018. Rizzo spoke out late Monday night.
