In the span of a few months, Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel has gone from freshman signal caller to national celebrity. Manziel became the first ever freshman to win the Heisman Trophy on Saturday night. On Monday, the 20-year-old joined David Letterman for the Top 10 perks of winning the Heisman Trophy.
Manziel has the type of confidence that could make Texas A&M one of the best teams in the SEC over the next couple years. That type of swagger is rare in a freshman quarterback playing against some of the best teams in the nation, and Johnny Football has shown he is more than up to the challenge this season.
Making appearances on late night talk shows at age 20 and dating a model that looks like this? I’d say the youngster from Texas has a bright future ahead of him.
