Marshall Football Turns The Heat Down

With a win on Saturday night, Mark Snyder successfully turned the heat down but not off. A win over Bowling Green was enough to prove many wrong who were already writing this season off as a failure. The win also quieted the dissent around Huntington and Marshall University's campus, at least for a day or two. Now that it is game day again, it is time for Snyder to focus on avoiding a beat down on Beale Street when the Herd takes on the Memphis Tigers this afternoon. Otherwise, Coach Snyder is going to crispier than Memphis Bar-Be-Que when the final whistle blows. In the post-game press conference after the Bowling Green contest, Snyder tried to down play the idea that the game against the Falcons was a must win. Coach commented how his wife (who is apparently played in this movie by Matthew Fox) told him that every game is a must win.
