His new album Kisses On The Bottom features The Beatle crooning standards (and two brand new standard-ish tunes), backed by Diana Krall’s band. But his next album promises to be his most rocking in a while: rumor has it that he’s working with his bro, Dave Grohl. Supposedly, when Dave formed a supergroup called Them Crooked Vultures a couple of years back with Josh Homme (from the band Queens Of The Stone Age) and Led Zeppelin alumni John Paul Jones, Sir Paul was a bit bummed not to have gotten the invite to play bass.
