If angry fans can’t convince the NBA to end the lockout, maybe the most powerful man in the world can.  President Obama mentioned in an interview that he’s a little bit heartbroken by the NBA lockout.  This is the first time I think I’ve ever agreed with the current POTUS. Obama is a well-known sports fan and some had the wild idea that he would force the NFL to end their lockout.  Obama ended this speculation by saying he had better things to do.  Judging by the current state of the US, I’m not going to disagree with him.  The owners and players need to put their egos aside and just get this deal done.  Of course, the egos are 95 percent of the problem and neither side will budge. I bet Obama is just upset as I am that we won’t be able to watch a full season of Derrick Rose.  If he feels the need to put a little pressure on the owners, I won’t mind it.  If they don’t listen to the president, I think all is lost?
