Hold on to your pocket protectors everyone, because Warner Bros. has announced they will be dropping what might be the most nerdishly-awesome movie ever to come to a big screen. In 2014, the first-ever LEGO movie will be released…yes, those LEGOs. Few things are as nostalgic as childhood toys, and every single person who has ever played with those little plastic blocks, has to be just a little happy inside to hear this news. Maybe it’s the 3.5 MILLION views The LEGO Movie trailer has received in about two and a half days, but something tells me a lot of people are very excited for this one. The movie will be directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, who are best know for their collaborations on 21-Jump Street and Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs. After watching the trailer, and peeping the serious all-star cast, you can count me as one of the many who is seriously geeked for this movie. From the WarnerBrosPictures Youtube page: “…It stars the vocal talents of Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Nick Offerman and Alison Brie, with Liam Neeson and Morgan Freeman…The original 3D computer animated story follows Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared…” Did I mention that LEGO Shaq, LEGO Batman and the LEGO Ninja Turtles are in the movie as well? Next April can’t come fast enough. The post THE LEGO Movie official teaser trailer looks pretty amazing appeared first on Last Angry Fan.
