Whitney Houston died Saturday at the young age of 48. She was one of the best singers of our generation and her talents reached all aspects of the entertainment industry. The Associated Press has details on her death and career, but we’ll leave you with one of her best performances, the singing of the national anthem at the 1991 Super Bowl.
Just how transcendent was Whitney? When Warren stole his CDs in Empire Records, the only non rap or metal album to make his cut was one of Whitney Houston. That may be the biggest compliment we can give her.
