New Spock battles Old Spock in a terrific new advertisement from Audi. Chock full of hilarious Star Trek and old-school Leonard Nimoy references, this might have been the most enjoyable two and half minute commercial we've ever sat through.  Zachary Quinto (New Spock) races Leonard Nimoy (Old Spock) to see which man can make it to the country club first. Loser buys the winner lunch. Quinto takes his new Audi S7 while Nimoy takes an older Mercedes. The humor starts almost instantly as Nimoy struggles to fit his clubs in his trunk, to which he angrily yells, "F***!" We've always loved Spock's colorful metaphors.  Quinto's journey to the course is loaded with new technology and plenty of lens flare. Meanwhile, Nimoy sings the unforgettable "Ballad of Bilbo Baggins" which he originally sang back in the 1960s. Awesome. Quinto beats Nimoy to the course, but as Nimoy arrives he recreates a scene from Star Trek II: Wrath of Khan and (spoiler alert) dies of radiation poisoning. Quinto doesn't buy it and wants his lunch, but Nimoy reminds him they're not inside yet and gives him the ol' Vulcan Nerve Pinch.  This ad is awesome. If you're a fan of Star Trek or just a fan of Nimoy, you were probably laughing throughout this spot. At the same time, Audi shows off their ride and brands it as the future, or the Next Generation of technology, to borrow yet another Star Trek reference.
