Greg Oden and NBA injuries and Joel

The title is evaluating two different subjects. Greg, you made me act like a monkey after not fouling out; instead he only committed 4 fouls. Inspired and telling your teammates what you want. Everyone needs a reminder they aren't playing for a stat sheet or money but to win a championship. It should be drummed into their heads until they buy into it again. You got a double-double which means you shouted for the ball and it went in resoundingly. All shots don't need to be blocked but it sure looks good. Play within yourself. The bad news I dropped him on my Fantasy team but the good news is he went from 128 to 32. Keep up the good work and psych yourself again.

The old injury bug has started to bite chronic injury prone players. Antawn Jamison and Caron Butler: For awhile last year they were the only two players you could rely to score. Pau Gasol is out but Bynum is healthy. Now they get to allow Bynum to play more. My bottom line for injured and future injured...if you stand in front of an opposing player to award them an offensive foul. Good luck but unless you're Joel Prysybilla you probably won't get the call and you'll be out indefinitely on the IL.

Joel needs more minutes to be effective. Greg has better wind than last year. He has a better shot than before. I don't want Joel in to score, I want him to show the spectators how a real man plays basketball. With his heart and soul and body. He, not Brandon Roy, is the heart of the Trailblazers.
