Some NHL Big Signings and Offseason News
It
was a sweet day in the National Hockey League for the Minnesota Wild as top
free agents Zach Parise and Ryan Suter both signed 98 million dollar contracts
with the Minnesota Wild. Rich men they are and the Wild is kind of an upset in
where these players would land although Parise is from Minnesota. Detroit and
the Chicago Blackhawks were in the bidding among other teams.
And
40”+ veteran Jaromir Jagr ends up in
Dallas with the Stars along with a few other players and long time enforcer Steve
Ott leaves the Stars for the Buffalo Sabres. Now if only the Toronto Maple
Leafs could find a good goaltender or some other good players. The Maple Leafs
are my favorite team and the Stars are my second or local team so I wish them
well. Have a good summer hockey fans and see you after the short offseason in
October. Best wishes Bratman
