Bruins' Kessel Reportedly Battling Cancer
Several reports out of the New England area believe that 19 year old Boston Bruins' rookie forward Phil Kessel is being treated for testicular cancer. He underwent surgery Tuesday for what is believed to be a "cancer-related ailment." Kessel would be the second Boston sports rookie this year to undergo treatment for cancer, as Red Sox pitcher Jon Lester had his season end abruptly due to lymphoma. Lester's cancer is now in remission.
