Sox and Yank fans fist fight. Yay
So, over at Busted Coverage there is the above video showing how well the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankee fans get along. It's peaceful to an extent. If you listen close, you can hear about 19 "Fugetha bout it" and 12 "FHAKIN QHEERS"?well, that is if you can hear over the fat bastards flabbing gut.

As the classic scene in "Animal House" goes (I'm paraphrasing here, with added descriptives to which any self respecting baseball fan would most assuredly agree where the Yankees are concerned), "Fat, drunk, stupid, obnoxious, imbecilic, ugly, inbred, inept, lame, virginal and utterly ridiculous is no way to go through life."
Truer words were never spoken when it concerns Yankee fan. You know, I've always wondered about this but I'm not sure which fan is more detrimental to all of professional sports; Oakland Raider fan or New York Yankee fan. I suppose it's possible that Yankee fan is made up of equal parts Raider fan and Philly fan, which would make complete sense when you think about it. Makes total sense.
It's a good thing that all the great old Yankee players have since passed away as they would be completely embarrassed to even be seen in the same yard as today's Yankee fan. Sure the fans in New York have always been a bit over the top, vocal and loyal - which team isn't - but never so dangerous and as criminal as they are today, which is why any of the luster and greatness of the Yankees teams of the 40's, 50's and early 60's has been irreparably damaged beyond any saving grace.
Oh, and one last thing? It is my fervent hope that they're building a multi-cell jail in the basement of the "new" (looks pretty much the same to me) Yankee Stadium. At least that way, the NYPD would only have to make one trip at the end of each game by bussing all of the arrested Yankee fan at one time instead of making several dozen trips as is the case now, thereby saving the New York taxpayer what would amount to millions of dollars a year.
