Bryan Roy. Remember him?

The ex Dutch internationalist is on his way to Houston over the next couple of days as he pays a visit to PDL side Texas Dutch Lions to hold a couple of clinics and also discuss some coaching techniques.

The former Ajax Amsterdam winger starred for the Netherlands from 1989 - 1995 appearing 32 times and scoring 9 times during that period.

His club career spanned from 1988 where he began with Ajax, playing 126 times and scoring 17 times in a four year term that ended with a UEFA Cup victory before moving to Italy with Foggia for a couple of years at which time he played in the 1994 World Cup in the USA before being knocked out by Brazil 3-2 at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas.

After the World Cup, he made the move to Nottingham Forest for a then record fee of £2.9 million and spent three seasons there before making a final big move to Hertha Berlin for a fee of £1.5 million.
