NotJustScottishFootball : Morton Mascot Cappie the Cat Decapitated & Dismembered

FANS were outraged yesterday after thieves dismembered a football club’s mascot.
Burglars who broke into Greenock Morton’s public address room left behind Cappie the Cat’s chopped-off hands and feet. His severed head was dumped in a nearby garden – but his torso and tail are still missing. The club said they hadn’t received a ransom note. Sound equipment worth thousands of pounds was also stolen during the weekend break-in at Cappielow.
