NPSL Championship winning side RVA FC, see midfielder Romena Bowie amongst 2013 MAC Hermann shortlist

Congratulations go to NPSL side RVA FC midfielder Romena Bowie who has found himself on the 2013 MAC Hermann Trophy shortlist of 34 players to watch.

After winning the NPSL with the Richmond side, the Jamaican, who studies at VCU, is among this years elite group of men's players and may need to find some more space in his trophy cabinet if he finds himself the winner of the crystal soccer ball.

No student from VCU has ever won the MAC Hermann trophy in either the mens or womens section since it's inauguration in 1967, 1988 for the women's format.

Bowie will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of 2012 winner Patrick Mullins, who also competes in the Southern Section of the NPSL with New Orleans Jesters.
