Will FC Dallas & LA Galaxy field USL Pro teams in 2014?

According to Tribal Football, they read some news on the Reckless Challenge soccer website that FC Dallas will be fielding a USL Pro side from 2014 alongside LA Galaxy.

As part of the current MLS-USL Pro partnership, the sides have to either have an affiliation side or as suggested, field a side of their own within the USL league.

The latter would obviously be the better formulation for the third division league as the status of having MLS reserve sides play in it's proper format for the term of the season would certainly further enhance the standings and awareness throughout the soccer fraternity.

However, it's all speculation until it's official but it sure would make things much more exciting in the third division should the MLS sides decide to actually compete over the season in a proper manner rather than just part time as an affiliate team.

Just a rumour mind, so take it with a pinch of salt!
