The UnChosen: PLAYERS THAT COULD JOIN THE AFL TO CONTINUE THEIR CARRER

In about three  weeks, the NFL  will sit down for its annual selection meeting. The thirty two teams figure to grab about three hundred players leaving about two thousand eligible prospects homeless. This group will be dwindled down by about three hundred more prospects leaving close to fifteen hundred players without football homes for next season.

Could  the Arena Football League provide shelter for these homeless stars? The fast pace appeal might be an ideal destination for some of them. These guys are green in professional football terms an learning an AFL system would be benefitial to them in terms of getting there so called foot in the door. This type of player is the true NFL rags to riches story which fans love. These players are hungry for work and would put bodies on the line for it.The AFLs ironman system is solid training and conditioning for the NFL game thus it makes the prospective athelete stronger and more developed. A good example could turn out to be Aaron Corp  quaterback of the University of Richmond. Corp could be drafted, however if he isnt he posses the kind of quickness necessary for the fast pace arena game and could excel as a safety on defense thus filling the two way  bill.

Next  Week:   Local  Radio  and TV does  it help  the AFL  as a whole?

This week on AFL FRIDAY look for a balanced New Orleans Voodoo team to win a close one over TAMPA BAY  51-50.
