Soon on Olympic Rugby case for IRB

The first woman to lead her country to a World Cup Sevens title has flown to Copenhagen to address the IOC and state the case for Rugby’s return to the Olympic Games in Rio 2016.

Cheryl Soon, who skippered Australia to World Cup success when the first Rugby Sevens championship for women was decided in Dubai earlier this year, is part of the heavyweight International Rugby Board delegation that will present to the IOC in the Danish capital on Friday night.
