ESPN's Mike Golic admits to steroid use

Former ND offensive lineman and NFL player Mike Golic admitted on his radio show "Mike and Mike in the Morning" that he did use steroids during his NFL career. Although he states he only used them for a couple of months to rehab from an injury, is this still a big deal? What does this say about the current NFL, if anything?
