Glenn Dorsey: painkillers and stimulators...

For a guy who didn't miss a single game in four years at LSU, Glenn Dorsey sure does get a lot of questions about injuries. Over and over and over again, same thing, all day yesterday. It could have been worse, though. Like when someone asked Jake Long, "What's your favorite NFL team?" Pay attention, buddy. Jake Long already agreed to a contract with the Dolphins. What do you expect him to say? That his favorite team is the Lions? There is no denying Dorsey's toughness, but teams and draft junkies are wise to question his health, whether he likes it or not. (For the record, he doesn't like it.) This year's top DT was forced to take painkillers prior to each game last season, and last summer he wore a bone stimulator on his shin for up to 18 hours a day. That doesn't exactly sound like the kind of stuff you do just for fun, unless electrical impulses and addictive narcotics are your idea of a good time. - Dewey
