NFL should suspend Vince Wilfork

The refs missed it, but the TV cameras didn't. Patriots clown Vince Wilfork should miss the next game for maliciously poking the eye of another player.

Yeah.....they missed that one, but they still got penalized on the play. Now everyone can get off of Roy William's back and get on Wilfork's.........LOL.

I don't think they missed it if you see it on tv dummy..I think they need to amplify the sound so we can all hear what happend dick..get a life this just happened 5 min ago.!

Did they get penalized for that, dummy. I don't they that they did, dick. The refs missed it. They got penalized for delay of game, not a personal foul.
      • Pinkpanthrrr
I'm a girl so I don't have a penis, and therefore by a technicality can't actually BE a dick. I think they replayed the whole situation on tv like 3 times. I just thought it was weird that I logged onto my computer right after this happened and someone was already writing about it!! Its like someone was just waiting for someone on NE to do ANYTHING to To critisize. I wonder what the other guy said to make Wilfork do that. That was the best game Ive seen all year.
        • CowboyJoe
Easy girl, you're team is 16-0, arguing with anyone on this is fruitless.
As for the Pats, they are not the class act the sock puppets, Peter King I am talking to you, believe they are, they are also not the demon spawn that some think.
    • Give someone a break genius. He meant that some type of penalty outside of the field of play should have occurred.
      • PhuckPhilly
It didn't, I guess it won't, it'over and we all just have to move one to the next issue.
  • qdynasty102
FOR SURE HE SHOULD GET SUSPENDED FOR THAT!

Im sure he'll get fined, but a suspension is out of the question. He didn't even get a flag for it.

If Manning could throw the damn ball, they wouldn't have anything to whine about. That pass he just threw was terrible. Looked like Romo against the Eagles.
      • orions
        Eli x 2= Romo...your all set
        • PhuckPhilly
I don't know. The way Romo looked today, might be Eli minus 2.......LOL. Yikes.
    • Another case of the zebras looking out for the Pats. It's no way they did not see the eye poking. If it was vice versa, they would have penalized for it.
      • orions
totally paid off they are...ludicrous...anti-NFL statement there
        • PhuckPhilly
They all say the same things about the Cowboys and Green Bay, too. Anyone with a winning record has the refs in their pockets.........right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • How many times do the CHEATRIOTS get a call just when they needed. NFL starting to look like the NBA the way games are fixed.

many cameras we had in the swamp tonight...Bill and the satellites....sigh
    • orions
your blind to all the five yard holds on NE WR's tonight, too? incapable of seeing or admitting that?
    • whitejordan32
Because seriously, the only way to stop them is to try and cheat. The calls are obvious and the refs call it. What else are they supposed to do? Watch as a non-biased fan and you will see the calls are right and if anything, the other team gets the better calls. Do any of you actually think the Giants are a better team and the Pats? You shouldn't so stop bitching about it.

statistically, Manning will be #1, Brady, Fifteen? (not rings though)..and TB will always be better with the da ladies
    • whitejordan32
Well the record is now 50 so who gives a fuck? In the record book it will go like this...

      1. 50 Tom Brady, New England Patriots 2007
      2. 49 Peyton Manning, Indianapolis Colts 2005?
      3. 48 Dan Marino, Miami Dolphins 19??

      That's all that matters.
And you sir, are up for Hater of the Year.
      Congratulations
      • or more like this
        1. Tom Brady*
        2. Peyton Manning
        3. Dan Marino
        * Tom Brady played for the Patriots, a team known for their lack of class and getting calls from the refs to keep their perfect season alive.

Boo hoo!!! I bet you that if the cheating thing would have never happened, they would still be 16-0 with the talent they have on offense.

    • Pinkpanthrrr
or a poke in the eye....hahah..
  • kieranhawe
No, he shouldn't and wont be suspended. Some slap on the wrist will happen just because the NFL likes to make a show of stuff that gets publicity. The NFL is also to in love with the Patriots and there season to do anything serious. Go steelers

Ballsy though: Brady to Moss on that simple pattern after failure the first time, and yes I'm moody but rational now after the most scrutinized, speculated NFL game ina while...now we can look forward to what it's all about...friggin Harrison too?? that penalty was costly up until Vrabel lockdown...Ya know Palpatine is yelling at him
      • jfranzen
Totally ballsy. I was cheering for the Pats (I KNOW! What the hell?) Sooooo sick of the detractors and sooooo sick of 1972.

Win the freaking bowl already and let's move on with it.

        Go Jets!
        • orions
it was flat out painful watching that game...reminds me of the other 15 games...LOL!...hang in there, Mangini CAN coach and if Chad and Thomas come back ok in 08', 10-6 and playoff berth a possibility

It must be hard being a Patriots fan... And I don't hate them because they're winning. I don't need a reason to not like a team. Hell, I hate the Raiders and they're complete shit.

Way to get 16-0, I still could care less.

very difficult...impossible this year...it's hard to explain...very complex, our mindset has been this year...in general, it's comparable to being a kind and benevolent person that is suddenly beaten everyday and hardens/morphs into a Fan you are surprised you have become...alot meaner and a constant defender...it sucks in 07'...and it continues
      • bzr034
I was being sarcastic, if you couldn't tell. Most Patriot fans are douche bags. I'd rather sit and listen to nails on a chalkboard for 5 hours than have to be around them or hear about how amazing the Patriots are. You're all cocky jerks and I can't wait until the Pats lose in the playoffs.
        • PhuckPhilly
Must be a fan of one of those teams that didn't make the playoffs.
        • orions
I admit, I got nice chuckle from your post...lol
    • My favorite kind of post: one where there's a blatant, bold-faced lie right in the first line.

The fact that the Patriots are a league above your favorite team is the ONLY reason you hate them.
      • bzr034
I don't like them because of the way they carry themselves. Like I said before, I don't need a reason to not like a team. If they aren't my favorite team, odds are I probably won't like them very much. See how that works? It doesn't really matter who it is.
  • theoneandonly
Well I am very glad the pats got the record. And as I read most posts on this I see haters whether they want to believe it or not!!! I am so glad Tom Brady got the TD record, because I dont really like Peyton(because of my friends).

  • As a Pats fan, I absolutely agree that he should be penalized for the poke. He should have thought before he did that, and realized that the NFL Network can't hear the shit Brandon Jacobs had been talking the whole game, and Wilfork should have realized that he would look like the bad guy, even if he was just answering back Jacobs. On a side note, why was Jacobs talking smack? At the time, he had 7 rushes for 7 yards.

An eye poke? Seriously? This is a 300 lb man giving an eye poke. It is cheap and dirty. I can't believe that there is even a question that there should be a reasonable consequence for it. I don't care if it happened in a preseason game or a carolina panthers game...its an eye poke.

Exactly an eye poke where if you watch it didnt even hit his fucking EYE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He did grab his eye and say he could not see because he just put his finger in his helmet!! Get over it.. O no holding calls cry about it that happens in every footballl game every sunday... Peyton Manning NEVER gets sacked, why because the colts line is good at holding and hiding it. Quit your bitching.

Can we all just leave behind the controversy of this whole ordeal and let's not critcize the whole thing even farther. I agree eye-poking is for preschoolers and let's all just move along and see what the NFL decides to do about this issue.

real clean team you have...nice after whistle cheapshots...I'm sick of you in most of nation...funny how you don't mention Moss cheapshot...Wilfork will get fined, but GO FUCKOURSELF!!!...and 15-1 is fine with me as we watch Tampa destroy you next week...you fucking one-sided punk!!!

Whoa.........that was a cheapshot on Moss. Usually works both ways. There are going to be cheapshots on both sides in a game of this magnitude. Lots of pressure.
      • orions
just fired up dude...just fired up...getting ready for playoffs...this one-sided article...and you know, it's not because we might lose this meaningless game to me, it's Coughlin and his mandate...our team takes these shots every week...put it this way, If we see a Giants Jersey around here after game, UGLY!
        • PhuckPhilly
Hey.......I'm going to send my ex-wife through Boston wearing one after the game........LOL.
        • orions
nothing to do with fans in general...it's this strange season and the animosity towards NE's organization every single week we've endured...it has worn us down where you feel like your on your heels seeing red more than you would like...alot of fans can't understand how taxing this season hase been here from what I observe and feel...I apologize for my tirade(Wilfork should get ripped on that, no doubt), but try to grasp what we NE fans have gone through this year?...all types of NE fans...fiery, passive, rational, etc... I don't know...it's been too surreal
        • orions
PHilly, I owe you a thanks on that
      • Mr_GFK
I don't think that was a cheap shot on Moss. Looks like he let his guard down at the wrong time. That was a clean shot, IMO.
        • orions
really? objectively? we all saw it
    • Mr_GFK
I'm actually a Jets fan. I hate the Giants. But that was still a cheap play.
      • PhuckPhilly
        How about them Jets?
        • Mr_GFK
          We're terrible. Thanks for asking.
      • orions
Mangini will get em 9-7 or 10-6 in 08'
    • If you watch what actually happened, Moss did it to himself. The defending player was standing still and did nothing more than move his shoulder to intercept the incoming Moss. Moss got more than his share of getting away with offensive pass interference (including the grossly blatant interference on the record-setting TD) so he has nothing to complain about.
  • I think NE is classless and ungracious for how amazingly good they are. It's very disappointing that you can't be a class act when you are blessed with such an unbelievable football team. I hope karma catches them and they lose in the playoffs for no better reason than to humble them. Very doubtful though.

Incidents like this happen on every team. It just gets blown out of proportion because it's the Pats.
  • qdynasty102
16-0 wont mean shit if they dotn win the super bowl, they wont even make it there cus the colts will beat them! MAYBE even san diego or pitt, if big ben and rivers step the fuck uP! BUT for srue the colts will win.

      Won't happen, but I guess it's a nice thought.
  • I think the WIlfork eye poke deserves not just suspension, but outright expulsion from the league, as well as felony charges with respect to his clear intent to maliciously wound his opponent. There's a reason why NFL football is very popular and NHL hockey is not, and that's because there is a line between hard-hitting, physical play, and brutality.

That might be going a little too far. Supsension for one game at the most and fined. If he actually would have injured his eye, then I say supend him for the playoffs, but that didn't happen.
  • theoneandonly
redskinsfan, you are by far the biggest puss on the website. Felony charges for an eye poke????? He didnt even hit somebody, he stuck his finger in jacobs helmet. GET OVER IT!!!!!!!!

Redskinsfan.....Are you serious? Why dont we just start giving the refs handcuffs and they can arrest players on the field for chopblocks and horse collar tackles. We can have them prosecuted at the post game press conference and then they can be sent straight to supermax lock up.
