Eagles had a great game - not a Favre fan, but enjoyed the Packs vs. Vikings. Surprised Denver lost to Baltimore.

Loved the Eagles-Swamp Things game, hated the Hawks-Cowboys mess. Hasselbeck looked good early, but then......

Okay, Favre has gotten his revenge, hope he enjoyed it, and knowing that his legacy in Green Bay, now counts for shyte. But they love him in Vermillion, no doubt.

My season is over, but I can still lend moral support to the Birds of Philly. Happy to see the best avatar in the Yard, back.

Glad you're supporting the Eagles Wheel! Wish the Seahawks would have beat up Dallas a little bit more.

The Seahawks can't get out of their own way.

I enjoyed seeing what the Birds can do with a healthy O line! The Colts almost took an L against the Niners, and I still cant stand seeing # 20 with a Broncos jersey.

Yeah - watching some of the Broncos plays was tough seeing BDawk with his new team.

    Farve is still awesome.

Adrian Peterson is a whole lot of fun to watch.

    Giants are not good.

    49ers are getting better.

Why in the heck wasn't there a Sunday night game?

    Tedd Ginn is really fast.

Browns are whatever is worse than bad.

Don't p*ss the Ravens defense off.

      you forgot a couple.

maclin and celek are becoming star players.
weaver is alot more than just a fullback.
the eagles still are having trouble covering tight ends.
who cares about a game that features the rams and lions.
the nfc east is still the best division in football.
mcnabb is still one of the top 5 qb`s in the league.
      chris johnson is a beast.
and finally, there was no sunday night game because of the world series.

There's a world series going on?
    • Wheelman
      Placard_complete_small
Its a `small world` this year. 75-miles at opposite ends of the New Jersey Turnpike. Could be worse, could be the Mets, seven miles between stadiums.

I can't wait to see Josh Freeman in his first start, should be interesting, and i hate the Packers and I'm not real fond of cheese.

Funny thing about cheese; eat too much and it makes you constipated (unless you`re lactose intolerant and then it has the opposite effect).Constipation could be called a pain in the arse, which is what Favre is these days. Unless you root for the Vikings, in which case, YOU are the pain in the arse. Interesting the way these complications arise.

I never understood the pronunciation of Favre's name. Shouldn't it sound like Fav-rey or Fav-er. The "v" is before the "r". Sorry, just always bugs me about him.
    • khollen
      Placard_complete_small
      lol.
    • Wheelman
      Placard_complete_small
Well, ya see, its like this HG. Down in the Deep Fried South, the letter R is held in high esteem, while the V is thought to be somewhat `Northern` and therefore suspect. Why, some of them Mi`ssippi literary nabobs just refuse to say Vern, when that`s a mans` name and it becomes `Ern`, not to be confused with `Urn`, which is what his ashes are stored in and placed in a spot of honor in the sun parlor.
So, they say Farve, which puts the esteemed R in its rightful place AHEAD of the Northern V. The further proof of that is the recreational vehicle which is abbreviated RV, and once again the R leads the V. Simple explanation really. Any ol` boy from Scylacauga, Tuscaloosa, Buttahachie, or Yazoo City coulda told ya the same thing.

    But's it's still 3-2.
    • Wheelman
      Placard_complete_small
True, but that`s a whole lot better than 4-1.
    • BowlBound
      Placard_complete_small
      But, 4-2 is somewhat better.

      Placard_complete_small
      But not for Cheesesteak City.

The City of Brotherly Hate got them a World Series last year. It's not that bad.

Joey Porter STILL Shooting His Mouth Off (This is Not a Repeat From Yesterday)

Pro Football Talk – Miami Dolphins linebacker Joey Porter says that as he prepares to face New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady on Sunday, he has to prepare for a particularly difficult challenge: A quarterback who gets protected by a special set of rules. Asked by Rich Eisen on NFL Network’s Around the League whether Brady has a special set of rules to take care of him, Porter went off. “No question,” Porter said. “When a guy can tell a ref when to throw a flag, and he gets it, he’s got his own rules. They made the rule that you don’t go at the legs for Tom, so when he feels that someone is going at his legs, he just points to the ref and he gets a flag. So I can honestly say that he gets his own rules.”
Dammit! The Patriots and the NFL had the perfect plan worked out. To protect Tom Brady and Tom Brady only, all other quarterbacks be damned. And they would’ve gotten away with it, if it weren’t for that meddling linebacker. But I can see they’re no match for Joey Porters brilliant powers of deduction. He’s not only tied for the title of the NFL’s second dirtiest player, he’s also Sherlock Holmes. I’m sure the Pats and the league were hoping no one would notice that Roughing the Passer penalties are only called when Brady’s in there, but you can’t put anything past Joey Porter by golly. He’s seen Peyton Manning get prison shanked right on the field, Drew Brees get tasered and Ben Roethlisberger get stabbed with a trident, without so much as flag flying. It was all part of the vast pigskin conspiracy set up to unfairly deny Porter and the Dolphins another all-important AFC East Championship ring like the one he was bragging about earlier in the week. But you’ve got to get up pretty early in the morning to fool him.

This was just a copy and paste article... not my words

But Rich Eisen can go suck one too!
  • The 49ers can't get a break. They are so close it seems every week but just not quite good enough. Its a shame because as crazy as he seems sometimes I love singletary.
