Eagles Need More At Receiver

Desean Jackson is injured. He was recently placed on injured reserve and will not return this season. Jeremy Maclin hasn't put together a good enough season to be considered a number one wide receiver. Jason Avant is a solid number three very dependable but frankly that's all he'll ever be is dependable. Riley Copper shows flashes But isn't the answer either. The Eagles to me need a big receiver that is consistent on a week to week basis. Someone who can help out in the red zone and someone that shows up in to play in tough division match ups. Here is my list of receivers that would take the Eagles to another level. Why sign or trade for a receiver when we have some many other issues ? the Eagles have a ton of many in cap room and should try improve at every position not just focus on one.

  • Larry Fitzgerald- WR -Arizona Cardinals. I know this is a bit of a stretch but with the Eagles season in shambles their posed for a high draft pick. Get a package together and trade for him.
  • Gregg Jennings-WR-Green Bay Packers. This isn't a stretch it actually makes perfect sense. No Jennings isn't a big receiver in size but has blazing speed and when healthy is very consistent. Green Bay has a flux of receivers making Gregg Jennings expendable.
  • Dwayne Bowe-WR-Kansas City Chiefs. Hes screaming to get out of KC and is set to hit the open market.
  • Mike Wallace-WR-Pittsburgh Steelers. Again not a big receiver but has speed and is a game changer for any team.
  • Keenan Allen-WR-California. Hes a play maker and has a rare combo of size and speed.
