Eagles Tumultuous 2012 Season

It all started on August 5, 2012 at Lehigh University in Bethlehem. Garrett Reids lethal heroin injection that presumably ended his young life. Michael Vick went on to dedicate the season to Garrett. While this was a very plausible statement on Mikes behalf, this year has been nothing short of laughable and I'm sure Mike would like to take that dedication back. I personally was very excited for the start of the season, the Eagles coming off four straight wins to end their disappointing 2011 campaign, a full off season for then defensive coordinator Juan Casitllo to further work on his defense, the addition of linebacker Demeco Ryans from the Houston Texans, and a healthy Mike Vick. Sounded like a recipe for success only to be a concoction for disaster as the Eagles have now lost 8 consecutive games and are worst team in the NFC. Who's to blame you ask? everyone is to blame not just Andy Reid, nor Mike Vick, to be fair the Eagles have been decimated by injuries especially on the offensive line. But injuries are no excuse this is professional football and every player should be ready to play hence the phrase "next man up". From poor offensive execution to the lack of passion and effort on the defensive side of the ball this season has been a huge disappointment and frankly it can't end fast enough. I'am still hopeful for the future of this franchise as Bryce Brown has been a very nice addition and Lesean Mccoy when healthy is one of the best backs in the league. What are your thoughts on the season? and what would your solution be? comments would be greatly appreciated.
