I've been instructed to start blogging again...HMPF

Track season has officially begun, hold that thought!I think my coach is secretly trying to turn me into a thicky thick girl! When I come back from my season overseas or during my off season I come back in a catatonic state (where my body begins to eat itself), this happens to nearly all of us because with all of the traveling, and intense training/competition, our eating habits suffer greatly and we drop weight at a rapid pace. So I came in at 114lbs and way too lean, during our first meeting back in October, he told me I needed to put on 5-7 lbs, I did. I've been 121 for the past 3-4 months, Tues, he told me I needed to gain another 5lbs and I said " how and for what reason?"His response, "These next 6 weeks are going to be very intense, your going to drop weight rapidly and when you head overseas, you will be in a catatonic state, I want you to be at least 125 before USA Championships." So I have 2 Months... I think he really wants me at least 130 pounds... Yes I am the smallest long jumper out there, yes if we have a head or a cross wind I bet blown out the air, or stopped in mid air, but if I have the slightest tail wind, I am GOLDEN and byebye suckas! I do need to put on weight, if I hear one more person say " Kiba, how much do you weight 97 pounds...do you even weight 100 pounds? HEHE"..... "hehe hell..." I will not type my repetitive response, cause I'm too much of a LADY. I  would love to weight 130, I need the power that will put me over the top. I don't think I can put on 15 pounds in one season...he expressed his wants of me to be heavier and power cleaning 90kilos  during next season ( Don't laugh, but I came in struggling to lift 50kilos, I just never got into lifting, but I am now at 77kilos...so I am almost there).
Coach is a very, very intriguing man, I love him deeply! Our first meeting, after discussing our expectations of one another, asks me bluntly:
" Are you in a relationship?" " HAAAAAAA....no, I don't do those too well".  " hmmmm, so is it true that black women are single because black men are either with white women, in jail, cheating or threaten by successful black woman?" "woooooooooooooow...well...actually your pretty accurate according to the stats". " Well so what are you guys gonna do, what are you gonna do, hey you know japanese men have a similar problem, why don't you guys hook up?"  " wow! your funny". Him: "oh Italians love black women...."
Thats when I knew he and I were a match made in heaven. His sense of humor is brilliant. We have one big group that covers pretty much all ethnic groups and we coexist beautifully and NOTHING is off limits, he makes that possible. He is blunt, vocal, sarcastic, aggressive, extreme intelligence who loves to share, verbal, passionate, moody and extremely loving, open and unbiased.I am subtle, quiet, passive-aggressive, sarcastic, nonchalant, loves to listen rather than to speak, communicates non-verbally, has a inner- quiet type of passion, and kinda in my own world....so we work very well because he knows me, and most important he knows how to bring the fire out of me and get me to respond. He use to just look at me and I'd be like "coach...what?" and he'd make some remark about he's just studying or watching me... and dude knows how to hit me, and hit hard. The other day during practice, he mad some sarcastic ass remark about me, loud enough so I could hear but to someone else...I laugh like "damn, a gut punch huh"...and it worked, I responded and he thanked me after practice, winked and walked off. I wanted to kick him!
I have wanted to work with this man for many years, amazing how things work its way out!  We have had Many conversations, all of which have impacted me deeply, so much so that, every time I walk away, I thank GOD for blessing me enough to have placed this man in my life and at THIS time.
ahhh hell, I was suppose to blog about my 1st meet, overcoming obstacles, my injuries, goals and all that stuff... hmmm maybe next time... until then..tah tah!
