Mt. Sac relays 2009

My 1st real outdoor of the season...I love Mt. Sac Relays, simply because my family/friends can attend this meet, and while they  tend to draw too much attention, I love the excitement and energy they bring! I accomplished one of several goals here, which was to  jump the "A" standard which not only qualifies me for USA Championships, but World Championships also (glad to have gotten that out of the way on my 1st jump). So I won this meet jumping 6.75 meters (22ft 1 3/4inch), which puts me top 5 in the world thus far! I am pleased, for that moment, getting there. Now staying there, Thats my goal, which means I gotta bring the heat! yes 22ft is cute and it will keep me top 10 in the world, but that AINT my goal. 7 meters ( 23 ft) wins hardware and money! So my goal is to average the "A" standard, and then pop my big one when needed (USA Champs, World Champs and World Athletic Final)!
so to give you non track folks a better image: the NBA three point line is 23 feet 9 inches at the top of the key and 22 feet from the corners.
I can jump from the corners. From the top, take one on step in from the 3 point line or subtract 9 inches and that's where I will be during In August!!!

Attached is the video of the meet!
