Latest Pictures of GSP Final Training in Montreal

MMACanada.net goes on location in Montreal, Quebec at the famous Tristar gym for a final glimpse inside UFC welterweight champion Georges "Rush" St Pierre's training camp before heading to Las Vegas in preperations for a week long media blitz for the UFC 100 show on Staurday July 11. MMACanada photographr Eric Gaudreault was on the scene yesterday capturing photos of the final training session in which Nate Marquardt, David Loiseau and young up and coming star Mike Ricci all participated. Also in attendance, watching and observing her son's final training session, is Georges St Pierre's mother. Georges St Pierre has had the toughest camp to date, the level and intensity of the sparring sessions has gradually increased since his last fight with BJ Penn. GSP has been in the best shape of his life, mentally and physically. GSP believes that his camp, his teammates and his coaches are the best in the game. GSP will go head to head with Brazilian muay thai powerhouse Thiago Alves in a 5-round battle for the UFC welterweight championship. The fight will be held inside the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas Nevada. Head coach Firas Zahabi put GSP through an intense sparring session with multiple talent, with GSP testing his cardio and strength against one fresh guy after another. One thing's for certain, GSP is in the best shape of his life, and becoming a stronger athlete as the years go by. This will not be an easy task for Thiago Silva to overcome, but only time will tell!
