The CFL:

• where you get only 3 downs to make a first down, not 4
• where you can score on a 107-yard TD pass or run
• where the players are great athletes but are just a bit too small or a step too slow for the NFL
• where at least half the players on a team's roster must be from Canada
• where you can celebrate after scoring a TD without having to worry about getting a 15-yard penalty (as long as you don't get too carried away)
• where it's OK to wear a doo-rag or bandana if you want to, instead of the sterile, NFL-mandated skull cap
• where during early-season games at Calgary the field is still bathed in sunshine as late as 8 PM
• and where the dreads are just as sick as they are on football fields here in the US
