Artest Gives Up Rap Career

I'm reading this straight out of the Sacramento Bee newspaper. "I do music as a hobby (now)," he said. "I don't take it that serious anymore." I'm not trying to bash him, but if you sell less than 400 albums your first week, that's a great choice. He'll still make music but won't be promoting himself any time soon. There are players who can be and are successful in music. One person who should go into music after retiring, Jerry Stackhouse. I heard him do the national anthem, that guy can sing. I might get his album if he comes out with one. One former player who was extremely sucessful, Wayman Tisdale. He has 6 jazz albums since the mid-90's. One of my dad's friends from our church is Wayman's cousin. Hooked him up with backstage passes to Wayman's concert a few years back. I never met him, but his music's good.
