Basketball’s Top 10 Funniest Moments

From Charles Barkley to John Salley, the NBA has been filled with funny men and even funnier basketball moments since the creator of the game Dr. James Naismith first formed the sport many moons ago.

Whether players were diving for loose balls or making blooper reels everywhere, NBA hoops has been filled with a multitude of side-splitting moments that have made both, fans and rivals come together for a hearty, good-natured laugh.

1. Young Nuggets Fan Can’t Duplicate Rocky (1:04 sec in video below)
A young Denver Nuggets fans tries to duplicate the Denver Nuggets mascot ‘Rocky’ who, just second earlier threw down a dunk off a trampoline. The young fan however, isn’t quite as successful and falls face-first on the soft landing pad under the basket.

Looks like the old San Diego Padres Chicken to me, but whichever mascot it is, he’s one lucky fella. The mascot in question gives a female fan a hearty hug, followed by several incredibly enthusiastic squeezes on her ample rump.

3. KJ Takes Rebound from Sir Charles (11 sec in 2nd video: NBA Funny )
Older NBA basketball betting buffs will remember these two NBA stars immediately. Kevin Johnson, one of his era’s best point guards, grabs a rebound from teammate Charles Barkley and tells him ‘Get outta’ here little bro’ as Barkley laughs and flashes his widely-photographed smile.
