Thunder take back the Heat 105-94 in Game 1 of the NBA Finals

Well
I was wrong again at least in my prediction tonight and that makes many of
you  Miami Heat haters happy. I’m not a
hater about most things and I didn’t see most of the game so I cant fully
comment what I saw. But I know Miami had a double digit first half lead and led
by 7 at the half 54-47. But then The Oklahoma Thunder lose the City it sounds
cooler led 74-73 after three quarters and went on to a 105-94 Game 1 victory.
And I have the Heat winning in 6 games. Well they may have been tired with only
2 days rest and traveling since Saturday night when the Heat won Game 7 at home
vs Boston.

The
Thunder meanwhile have been home since beating San Antonio at home last
Wednesday.  More rest, better or sligthly
younger talent who knows but we’ll see who is better as the series goes on.

Kevin
Durant and the Thunder took Game 1 over Lebron James and the Heat. I still
think Lebron James willl or should be hungrier to win being in his third finals
and never having won the title and I’m kind of rooting for him in that respect.
I like to see the great ones win even Isiah Thomas and the Bad Boy Detroit
Pistons of the late 1980s who I disliked not hated about as much as the Heat.
But I gain some respect for teams when they win and that’s the challenge being
thrown at the Heat and Thunder now.

Why
do Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook of the Thunder wear those goofy glasses
without lenses? Kind of an insult to all 
of us who cant see without glasses lol. Does Lebron James have lenses in
his glasses either? What a goofy fad.

Anyway
I look forward to the rest of the series with Game 2 Thursday Night before the
series swiches to Miami for the next three games in the 2-3-2 NBA Finals
format.  I think an interesting format
that’s never been tried would be a 1-2-2-1-1-1 format where the the team with
home court advantage would play Games 1,4,5 and 7 at home and the road team
would play Games 2,3 and 6 at home. Just a little more traveling but that’s the
NBA anyway ha ha.
