Is our Sports obsession hurting our ability to fix our future?

I love sports and cherish the memories of my past team performances and love to witness dazzling performances on the hard court by our nimble pros and amateur arenas.

However, i am are concerned that our myopic focus on the latest sporting activity may be inhibiting our ability to see and address numerous fixable problems with our infrastructure and ability to develop real skills in future generations that will ensure future economic success?

Attached is an inspiration article by an engineer who sees the potential of his son. Just hope that millions of other fathers are planting seeds of success of real career skills and not overly focused on diversions that seem to drive our society.
