Renee Montgomery and her place in UConn history

Sue Bird, and Dianna Taurasi are the names most often associated with Uconn basketball. Ucon has produced several WNBA player, and Olympians, and have a couple of stars still on the current roster. But let's take a minute and think about what Renee was able to accomplish during her reign as the Queen of the Husky program.

Stats already say that she is one of the all-time Uconn greats, but is her single title going to be enough for her critics to finally give her her due respect????? At the start of the season, she was the best non title winner in Uconn history. Finished regular season with 30-0 record. Now with one ring, can we now have her name rightfully thrown into the mix with Birds,Taurasi, and Company??????
