Is Aussie dominance bad for cricket?
Why is it that when a team dominates a sport it's not nearly as exciting as when a player dominates? Tiger Woods, Roger Federer, Michael Jordan, PeleƒV, Lance Armstrong...all these players are beloved and provide (or provided) major excitement for their sport. But when a team dominates? It's just not the same, and tends to be damaging to the sport (as in its popularity and fan base). So is it also damaging when the Australian team is crowned World Champions for the third year in a row?
