SEC Dominance

if you look at the recent bcs history you can clearly see the sec has clearly dominated, aside from last night the sec has basically dominated the BCS era. here is why- if you look from the 1999 season onward to the just finished 2013 season there is only one season where their is not 2 sec teams ranked in top 10 , that season was 2002 and the lone team in the top ten was Georgia. My point is this that the sec has really controlled college football  and will continue to control it despite the evaluation to a playoff.

  • they weren't this year
  • Yeah right, how about because the SEC owned the BCS and ESPN ($2.25 Billion partnership between ESPN and the MIGHTY SEC) so of freaking course they "dominated", money talks and when the SEC owned BCS and ESPN voters place 4 or 5 SEC teams in the top 25 every year and unfairly move them up farther for beating an SEC team and don't drop them as far for losing to an SEC team of course they are going to finish the season in a position to play for the National Championship! SEC crowned National Champions 10.42% of the time prior to the BCS, 57.14 % of the time the previous past HALF Century! Keep drinking that Kool-Aid!
