The thrill is gone!

Okay first hats off to Bilko. that kid is badass. secondly i need to say that all the pissing and moaning im about to do is in no way a reflection of any of the riders. You guys work your asses off and you deserve all the respect in the world. Twitch, Mase, Jones, Potter, Torres, Adams you guys all put in work. I enjoyed everyones runs very much. Except matt rebeaud for some reason that guy isnt fun to watch at all. Maybe its cus he has such a jerky style on the bike and does the same run for the last 3 years.

Now on to my complaints! X games Sucks!! they have completely dropped the ball and jacked up the sport. This weekends events are plagued with one corporate screw up after another.

In 2003 I loaded up my ford ranger and drove to California. I walked into the colosium tired sore and sick. All that instantly didnt matter due to what i could feel in the air. There was a sense of electricity in the air. I watched one of the most intense FMX contest take place that me nor anyone else in attendance will EVER forget. it was a beautiful thing.

The course...sucked. You try to cram 3 different race tracks a rally car course and fmx course into one arena. stupid. Supercross has a ton of races all year long. It doesnt belong at X one bit. Its jus another chance for overpaid racers to get more magazine ads. Get rid of it. Rally racing is cool for a reason. You can slide a car through a forrest sideways at 90mph... It doesnt belong at X either. The only reason it was introduced was to get pastrana to keep comin back to get more ratings.

I am supremely pissed that all this stupid stuff gets in the way. FMX.BMX.SKATEBOARD.

These are the only things that should be in the x games. X meaning extreme and you wanna bring in cars? no!

Give fmx riders a course worth riding. These guys risk there lives upside down 35 feet in the air jus to show for the fans, and you wanna make them navigate around all the other bullshit you wanna cram into a stadium. FMX is without a doubt the Gnarliest thing goin on in the world. respect the riders, judge them fairly and pay them enough to cover themselves if they get destroyed.

BMX and skating are badass. a double frontflip and the lasek/gagnon battle were both epic. I dont know too much about either sport so i dont know how those guys get treated, but there definately getting a better deal course and judge wise!!

I will never feel the same way about X games as i did 6 years ago, and thats because of the overpaid jackasses that are trying to squeeze even more money out of it. The riders will never dissappoint me though, that i can count on. I suppose that the REDBULL X FIGHTERS series is the new premiere contest series of the year. I jus hope all the sponsors realize that and let there riders out of X obligations. Personally i wish all the riders would boycot it next year. agree to show up and noone does. what will paul think about that?
