Geeks and Dorks Around the Globe Mourn

It is with great discomfort and a heavy heart that the FlyMaster brings you the news of Gary Gygax's death. For those of you who indulge in social activities such as having friends and not living in your mother's basement, this news will not affect you. However if you are amongst the legions of geeks and dorks who ever played Dungeons and Dragons, then you know that Gygax's death is equivalent to Brett Favre retiring in the eyes of Packers fans. Gygax invented the preferred role playing game for two generations of social misfits, horn-rimmed glass wearers, and nose pickers. The FlyMaster took his name from his desire to be a dungeon master, and today the ultimate Dungeon Master has transitioned into the afterlife. Battling orcs, increasing hit points, and searching for the lost treasure of Aganathia took up the better part of 16 years of the FlyMaster's dismal youth. Now, the Dungeon Master is gone and it may be time to venture outside and make some real friends. This is a sad day! First Favre, now Gygax...the FlyMaster needs some FlyLiquor.
