Sports Related Phrases I Never Want to Hear Again

You hear them all the time. Sayings such as "We're taking it one game at a time" and "We left it all on the field" are commonplace in locker rooms from junior high to the NFL. We know that everyone “has to give one hundred and ten percent", that some players are “gamers”, and that "There is no 'I' in team." You’ve all had the feeling when "The breaks didn't go your way", and when "We gave it all we had but came up a little short." Whether your team is “peaking at the right time”, or “on the bubble”, we hope “they're capable of making a deep run in the post-season.” Even if “It's just (insert athletes name here) being (insert athletes name here)”, we have to “Stick a fork in him -- he's done.” What’s the sports related clichés you never want to hear again?
