Panthers Seek an Edge and Sharpen their Bite

A new skate sharpening technology called the “Flat Bottom V” is here to revolutionize the sport of hockey – adding both speed and agility to the play. Talking to the man behind the technology – Steve Wilson of Blackstone Sports – I find out that the Florida Panthers led the way in the NHL with this new technology last year. Panthers Head Equipment Manager Chris Scoppetto fills me in on the details and explains how the FBV got veteran winger Cory Stillman on rails.
