NHL possible ban on fighting....

According to Lee Russakoff, the NHL's big wigs will conduct a meeting in Naples, Florida over three days to discuss how to "fix" the game of hockey. One of these "fixes" is to ban fighting in hockey within about 5 to 10 years. Brian Lawton, GM of the Tampa Bay Lightning called the practice of fighting "archaic."

I have but one question for Mr. Lawton and Mr. Bettman... are you f@cking high? Really?

As if the changes Gary Bettman made during the lockout killed the game enough, do you honestly believe this will actually ATTRACT fans? What else entices a crowd more than two grown men beating the living sh!t out of each other??? Why do you think hockey was at the peak of its popularity during the 70's?

Three words: Bench Clearing Brawls.

Bettman is basically changing the man's sport of hockey, into figure skating.

I'm sick of this.

Anybody else calling for a revolution? Anybody? I think we need to destroy the evil dictator of hockey, King Bettman I.

Oh and maybe take his little butt buddy Sidney Crosb!tch along with him.
