Dumont Signs With Nashville

J.P. Dumont, one of the few remaining significant free agents left on the market, has signed a two-year deal with the Nashville Predators. Dumont became an unresticted free agent when Buffalo walked away from an arbitration ruling that would have paid him $2.9 million next season. Dumont will make $2 million this year and $2.5 million in the second year of the deal with Nashville.
