Northwest Division Preview: Colorado Avalanche

The race to the playoffs is always a doozy in the Northwest division because it's never clear who is going to clench the division until the very last second. Three teams from the Northwest division made it to the Western Conference post-season this year. But the Avalanche was certainly holding its breath until the final games of the regular season, hoping it could clench one of the precious Western Conference spots.
