Question of the Day: Do You Think Roberto Luongo Should Be Going to Montreal?

• Northwest Division rivalry aside, I don't think a guy who missed half of the first half of the season should be going to an All-Star game, regardless of his record, the amount of shutouts he has, or being the only goalie currently "wearing" the C for his team. (not to mention wearing number 1, when that's only "reality" in his dreams thanks to The Finnisher)

• And believe me, this isn't just the die-hard Flames fan, Kipper loving, Vancouver hating perspective that you might think. It just doesn't make any sense to me, or to two of my best friends, who happen to be die-hard Canucks fans. Even they can't understand how someone who has missed that many games, then so badly fumbled his supposed "comeback game" and been scored on 9 times in his first game back deserves to go and represent the best of the best in the league.

• I know I'm probably going to get ripped to pieces on this one by some of you Robby Lu supporters, but I'm really looking for some perspective on this. Unfortunately, and whether I like it or not, he'll be suiting up for my Western Conference team. Thankfully, though, he won't be starting for it...Thank God for Jean-Sebastian Giguere. (never thought I'd be saying those words...)
