Lidge loses closer job again
Brad Lidge has once again been removed from the closer's role in Houston, but this time it is probably for good. Phil Garner said he would go with a closer-by-committee, though Dan Wheeler will probably be the go-to guy more often than not. Trever Miller should also get some save opportunities as well. What is it about those post-season meltdowns that destroy closers? Donnie Moore, Mitch Williams, and now Brad Lidge. Amazing.
