UCLA's Shipp has off-season surgery on his hip again

UCLA forward Josh Shipp had surgery on his left hip yesterday, a repeat of the procedure he had during the season 2 years ago. The forward went in for a checkup MRI and there was torn cartilage and some bony overgrowth on some areas that shouldn't be there. The recovery time is expected to be 8-12 weeks, but he should be full strength by September.
