Kentucky Basketball Isn't Dead

This has been a tough season to be a Cats fan. Our early season struggles have really put us in a deep hole, and we're having a hard time digging out of it. The losses to Gardner Webb and San Diego have given all the UK haters an incentive to bash us every chance they get. I cant even turn on ESPN anymore without hearing about it. Everyone on there loves the fact that the almighty Kentucky is struggling so bad. Well, I got news for them. UK is bouncing back! We have come a long way since those losses, and we're slowly working our way back into the NCAA tourney conversation. We're in the middle of a 4 game winning streak, including a win over #3 Tennessee at Rupp Arena just two weeks ago. At the moment, we are 11-9, with 9 games remaining in the regular season. We need to go at least 7-2 in those games in order to be in the mix for the SEC title. If we can do that, it would shock the world and silence all the haters. I have faith in this team, as well as our Coach. Ive never been more proud of a team in all my 29 years. This team has heart, and tons of pride. Dont expect them to go down without a fight. I'm warning all the haters right now. Watch what you say about my Wildcats. You may end up looking like a fool before season's end. GO BIG BLUE!!
