UK's Jasper Improves Shooting
After last season, Kentucky guard Derrick Jasper wanted to improve his perimeter shooting. To say there was room for improvement is like saying UK's bachelor coach, Billy Gillispie, has extra space in his 12,000 square-foot house. Jasper, who made only three three-pointers as a freshman, said he set a goal of making 600 shots a day during the off-season. "Trying to improve my shooting," he said. Mission accomplished, Jasper said.
