That was just beautiful. Or more so should i say, John Lackey was beautiful. I know it was the Devil Rays that they was playing but a game is a game. And a win is a win. No matter who you are playing against. He struck out ten and had a shutout into the top of the ninth. He gives up a ground-rule double. And Scioscia comes in to take him out. I believe he coulda finished it off. I had a really close seat but i couldn't see his face but i could tell he didn't want to come out. I don't blame him. I woulda been pissed. He had come that far. Let him finish it. He's done it before. He's a great pitcher. He is a true competitor. Texas fed. Texas bred. Texas tough. Ugh. But as they say, whoever "they" are...its all done with. We won. John got his 17th win. I got to see an awesome game. We are down to 4 games to clinch. All is right in the jungle. Later y'all
